Meet Our Team

Pastor Jimmy Davis

Hi, I’m Pastor Jimmy
My wife Cassie and I have been married since October 1, 2016. We have two beautiful
children, Elijah and Elyanah. We accepted the call to lead here at Beacon of Hope in
2024.
Born and raised in Warren, Ohio, My journey to faith is a remarkable story of
redemption. As a teenager, I encountered Christ at the age of 17, transforming from an
unchurched youth to a dedicated disciple. Despite facing significant challenges,
including a period of addiction and incarceration, I experienced a profound
transformation that deepened my commitment to advancing God’s Kingdom, feeling a
compelling call to preach and help others experience the salvation of the Lord. Over the
past eight years, my wife Cassie and I have ministered in various capacities, from
church plants and campus ministries to revitalization efforts and missions.
I firmly believe that discipleship is the lifeblood of the church, serving as the conduit
through which God’s love and grace flow. I also emphasizes the importance of “doing
life” with people, offering genuine, authentic leadership that comes with encouragement
and accountability. I’ve been known for my relatable and transparent style, with a knack
for weaving biblical truths into everyday scenarios, making them accessible and
applicable to all. I’m passionate about fostering a culture of inclusivity and hospitality,
meeting people where they are, and helping them grow in their faith. I believe strongly in
the family unit. Beginning with the household, extending to the congregation and
community.
I hold an associate degree in Religion from Liberty University and currently completing
my studies on the elder track for ordination through Mount Vernon Nazarene University .
I’m a lifelong learner, continually seeking to grow in my faith and ministry skills.
We are excited about what God is doing here at Beacon of Hope and would love to do
life with you!
